Windows Store will appear in February along with Windows 8 beta

Store for Windows applications will run in February 2012 along with Windows 8 beta. The store will be able to download applications for Windows 8 desktop and tablet computers that will run on there redesigned operating system.

To motivate developers Microsoft promised a greater percentage of competing stores from selling the most popular applications. Microsoft says that the store will be available global, that developers can sell applications in 231 countries in more than 100 languages. All applications will need to be approved by Microsoft.

It is expected these digital stores to replace sales of CDs with software because it offers the same software more efficiently. Users much easier and often can buy applications that  with one or two clicks can immediately have on their device.

Important for users will be that they can test applications before purchase.
