Sony TV with a different picture for different spectator
Sony launches a new TV sale that shows every viewer a totally different picture. TV is called "Simulview", and the purpose is for playing video games on the PlayStation console. To get a different picture of this TV, viewers need to wear 3D glasses with active shutter. Thus, the display uses images with high speed of the television screen to send different 2D image for each pair of glasses that run on batteries. So far, this TV works only for two pairs of glasses and can send a totally different picture only for two viewers. The idea behind this device of Sony, branded as PS3 TV is to be used in playing video games, and will allow two players that are competing, not to "niche" and look at the screen of a teammate. So far limited number of games can function on this TV, including Motorstorm: Apocalypse and Gran Turismo 5, "Simulview" Playstation also functions as 3D TV. Currently, the TV is only available in the U.S., but is expected to arrive in spring in Europe, reports Daily Mail.
