QBO, robot with stereoscopic vision, which in itself has the software to recognize objects and persons, developed by the company TheCorpora, have recognized himself in the mirror.

QBO, whose source is free, it is a small robot with artificial intelligence designed for domestic needs. The goal of the creators is to create a robot that would serve as a pet. QBO has stereoscopic vision (2 web cameras that recognize faces, depth of  image, objects, colors, maps, etc..), a system for speech and speech recognition (for now only English is supported), internet connection via Wi-Fi, ultrasonic sensors through   which manages to avoid objects and downs and so on.

From TheCorpora say that the idea of ​​this little experiment came after it was mentioned that only a man, dolphins and some species of apes can recognize themselves in the mirror.
