Polaroid introduced its smart camera

On the Consumer Electronics Fair in Las Vegas (CES), Polaroid introduced its smart camera marked as SC1630. The new camera, after smart phones and smart TVs, is the latest device that joins to the growing family of smart gadgets.

The camera has 16 MP and three times optical zoom, touchscreen, WiFi connectivity and Android operating system.

Similar as smartphones, SC1630 can take applications from Android Market, and between applications there are for arranging pictures directly to the camera. Thanks to the WiFi connectivity you can share pictures with others through social networks or through popular photo services.

It remains unclear when the new Polaroid camera will hit the market, but expectations are that it will happen this year.
