LG unveiled its first LTE tablet PC, Optimus Pad LTE.
This advanced tablet PC model is introduced in South Korea, and as its main feature stands combination of True HD IPS screen with the latest LTE technology.
"For users of Tablet PC is required faster and better internet access, given the fact that they surf five times more on the Internet compared to the average users of smart phones," said Dr. Jong-seok Park the President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "The use of LTE technology of Tablet PCs is a clear advantage for all that Tablet PC is a major device we used while in motion," is said in the statement from the LG press release.
Users of Optimus Pad LTE tablets will be able to enjoy HD multimedia content on True HD IPS screen with resolution 1280 x 720 pixels. This model also has 8 megapixel camera that captures high resolution content.
Besides these features, Optimus Pad LTE has Smart Movie Editor feature for easier and faster editing of images and video clips. Using Web Duet function is also possible to search the Internet and send e-mail messages or sharing content on social networks, while OSP (On-Screen Phone) technology enables connection to LG smart phones.
LG Optimus Pad LTE is difficult only 479 grams and is slim 9.34 mm. This model has a dual-core processor with a speed of 1.5 GHz and uses Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. It also supports HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) technology.
