In France, at the request of U.S. authorities arrest alleged member of a criminal network CarderPlanet, which the U.S. suspected of fraudulent credit cards. As reported in Wednesday, 11 August, at the site of the Ministry of Justice of the United States, it is a 27-year-old Vladislav Horohorine (Vladislav Horohorin), having the citizenship of Ukraine and Israel, and lives in Moscow.

Estimated hacker, also known under the nickname BadB, was arrested last weekend during a joint operation by the French authorities and American intelligence services, I was going to fly from Nice to Moscow. Currently, he is in custody awaiting extradition to the U.S..

The charges against Horohorina were nominated by U.S. judicial authorities in November 2009. According to them, he was involved in kidnapping and selling credit card data of U.S. citizens. The report of the Ministry of Justice stated that Horohorin is perhaps the author of one of the largest frauds of its kind.

It is pointed out that against Horohorina indicted on charges of fraud and theft with aggravating circumstances. If he is found guilty on both counts, he faces up to total 12 years in prison. In addition, each of these two charges imply a fine of up to 250 thousand dollars.

According to investigators, the detainee is one of the founders of the criminal network CarderPlanet. This organization, which includes about seven thousand people (mostly in Eastern Europe and CIS countries) involved in the sale of stolen customer data from Western banks and other fraud using stolen credit cards or their numbers.

U.S. secret services managed to close the network in 2004 and since then they continue to hunt down suspected members CarderPlanet in different countries.
