Honda introduced a new robot ASIMO

Honda unveiled a new humanoid robot ASIMO - equipped with brand new technology for autonomous control of behavior.

This means that the new ASIMO can move without being controlled by an operator, and its vastly improved intelligence easier to handle and adapt to different situations. With such improvements, Honda made a big step closer to practical use in the office or in a public space where many people pass by.

The new ASIMO is able to react to the movement of people in his environment and can change its behavior to adapt to the intentions of others. Also, the humanoid robot can recognize faces and voices, even when more people speak simultaneously.

Thanks to the ability to recognize objects and highly functional hand with fingers, ASIMO can open drink and poured into a glass.
