HTC unveiled two smartphones based on Android

New Desire HD and Desire Z is running Google Android, says the official press release.

Over Android OS will be installed an updated version of original shell HTC Sense.

New HTC Qualcomm Snapdragon processor has a frequency of 1 gigahertz.

Desire HD module will be equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11n and can work in networks of 3G.

A distinctive feature of the smartphone is a special design sliding screen, which provides more convenient access to the upper row of keys on the keyboard.

New items go on sale in some European countries in October 2010.
