HTC announced a Tablet PC and Ice Cream Sandwich on devices of 2012
The leader of HTC, Peter Chou announced that Taiwanese company soon will join the tablet PC market, and that next year it will invest in countries in transition as much as it invests in developed countries.
Company, on its Facebook page announced plans to upgrade its smart phones with the new version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. The new operating system starting from 2012 will be available on HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL, HTC Sensation XE and HTC Rezound. HTC Vivid can now be upgraded with Ice Cream Sandwich.
Peter Chou said that the company will not abandon its image of premium brand. According to him, consumers are prepared to pay more, and therefore this year the company in China grew nearly five times. Users support the philosophy of the company.
HTC still is restrained compared to the market for tablet computers, and so far they have launched only one Tablet PC in February. The company is focused on smart phones, but still considers the market, according to Peter Chou, HTC will try to make a tablet computer that will be out of the competition.
