Fujifilm has introduced the X-Pro1
After several days of speculation Fujifilm on CES fair in Los Angeles has introduced its newest camera, X-Pro1, which continues the story that began with the popular X100.
The new camera MILS (Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera) delivers 16-megapixel class of the new X-Trans CMOS sensor, according to the manufacturer, is designed for professionals who want a quality camera in a compact body. One of the most interesting developments of X-Pro1 is the new X-Trans sensor that uses a completely new type of CFA (colour filter array) with an irregular pattern of red, green and blue. Therefore no need for optical low-pass filter, according to Fuji, means a better resolution in terms of Bayer sensors. Preference will be the small distance of the sensor from the back lens on the objective of only 17.7 mm and the large hole that contribute to a better defined details on the corners of the frame. Like the X100 - the new model of Fuji has a hybrid optical-electronic vjufajnder which adapts according to focal length lens. In the spirit of retro design, X-Pro1 has a key for determining the exposure of traditional appearance.
