Facebook is testing desktop Messenger for Windows 7
Facebook with a small group of users test desktop messenger that will have access to chat, Ticker and notifications. The idea is to provide desktop access to popular features so users can be active on the network all day without need to open browsers, reveals TechCrunch.
This application will certainly be popular and will be able to replace Windows Live Messenger as the most popular application currently for chatting with Facebook friends. Same such possibility, even for video calls, and more recently has Skype.
